February 4, 2011: Brookfield, CT 06804 In Friday's league match, the visiting Newtown Nighthawks basketball team scored a tight 50-47 triumph over the Brookfield Bobcats.
In their next game, the Nighthawks confront the Notre Dame Catholic Lancers (Fairfield, CT) in a Southwest - Patriot match, on Tuesday, February 8. Newtown will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Lancers enter the match with a 13-0 record after their 57-50 league win over Masuk (Monroe, CT).
