Texas High School Basketball - South San Antonio fells Holy Cross
January 4, 2011: San Antonio, TX 78228 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the South San Antonio Bobcats (San Antonio, TX) and the host Holy Cross Knights (San Antonio, TX), saw South San Antonio's basketball squad overcome Holy Cross by a score of 72-53.
With the victory, South San Antonio improves its record to 16-9 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Highlands (San Antonio, TX) to play the Owls in a 5A Region IV District 28 challenge on Friday, January 7. The Owls come into the challenge with a record of 17-7. Highlands lost 53-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Incarnate Word (San Antonio, TX)
Next up, the Knights play the Clarendon Broncos (Clarendon, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 4. Holy Cross will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record. The Broncos come into the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 41-38 non-league loss to Wheeler (Wheeler, TX).
