With the victory, Benson betters its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to San Miguel (Tucson, AZ) to face the Vipers in a South game on Tuesday, September 15. The Vipers enter the game with a record of 0-1.

First Half
Benson Started off strong by taking 6 shots in the first 5 minutes of the match. Academy's Keeper did a real nice job of denying those opportunites. Benson finally broke through with a score by Fullback, Luis Meza in the 28th minute and Ramiro Olivarez in the 38th minute the halftime score 2-0.
Second Half
In the second half, scores by Guy Black, Nathan Borders, Chris Hoffman, Gorgui So and Emilio Olivarez with an assist to Vicente Macias help propel Benson to a 7-0 victory.
