Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Methacton fells Perkiomen Valley
December 18, 2009: Collegeville, PA 19426 Methacton Warriors (Norristown, PA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host Perkiomen Valley Vikings (Collegeville, PA), 47-31 in a league bout.
With the victory, Methacton upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Warriors host Cheltenham (Wyncote, PA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Monday, December 21. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 4-0. Cheltenham won 57-41 in their recent league bout against Upper Dublin (Fort Washington, PA)
Next up, the Vikings play the Tennent Panthers (Warminster, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 19. Perkiomen Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 49-30 league win over Bensalem (Bensalem, PA).

Second Quarter
Methacton holds PV scoreless first 6 minutes of quarter. Pushes lead to 17 at the half.

Methacton starts half out strong to put game out of reach. Methacton holds PV scoreless for first 4 minutes and to only 4 points in the quarter and pushes lead to 23 after 3 quarters.
Fourth Quarter
Starters get a rest and Methacton goes deep on bench for some much deserved playing time for everyone.
