The Sun Valley Vanguards basketball team (Aston, PA), was overwhelmed 85-43 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Oxford Hornets (Oxford, PA)

The Hornets now possess a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Steelton-Highspire for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 31. Oxford will battle a Steamrollers team coming off a 82-78 league win over Trinity (Camp Hill, PA). The Steamrollers record now stands at 17-2.

The Vanguards (4-16) will now prepare for their battle against Bayard Rustin (West Chester, PA). The Golden Knights come into the Ches-Mont - American battle with a 9-10 record. In their last battle, Bayard Rustin trounced Unionville (Kennett Square, PA), 46-30, in a league battle.
