Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the North Pontotoc Vikings (Ecru, MS) and the host South Pontotoc Cougars (Pontotoc, MS), saw North Pontotoc's basketball squad knock off South Pontotoc by a score of 82-64.

With the victory, North Pontotoc improves its record to 15-9 on the campaign. The Vikings host Senatobia (Senatobia, MS) to play the Warriors in a 4A Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 9-8.
