Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Thomas Jefferson trounces Clairton
January 9, 2013: Jefferson Hills, PA 15025 The Thomas Jefferson Jaguars (Jefferson Hills, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Clairton Bears (Clairton, PA), 57-26 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Jaguars (4-8) will now prepare for their test against Waynesburg Central (Waynesburg, PA). The Raiders go into the WPIAL AAA 4 test with a 3-9 record. In their last test, Waynesburg Central was trounced by West Mifflin (West Mifflin, PA), 68-40, in a league test.
The Bears now own a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Serra Catholic for a WPIAL A 4 test on Thursday, January 10. Clairton will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 69-40 league win over Monessen (Monessen, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 8-2.
