New Jersey High School Basketball - Mainland Regional succumbs to Middle Township
January 23, 2012: Linwood, NJ 08221 The Middle Township Panthers topped the host Mainland Regional Mustangs basketball team by a final score of 43-33 in Monday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Panthers face the Wildwood Warriors (Wildwood, NJ) in a non-league game, on Saturday, January 28. Middle Township will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record.
With the defeat, Mainland Regional moves to 0-1 on the year. The Mustangs host Egg Harbor Township (Egg Harbor Township, NJ) to face the Eagles in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 25. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 0-1.

Middle almost goes scoreless for the 1st time ever in my tenure as a sub-varsity head coach! We score late to take a 1 pt. lead at the half, despite a tough 2nd qtr. 16-15 Middle!
Third Quarter
Another low scoring qtr. for both teams{4-3 Mainland} to take a 19-19 tie inti the 4th qtr.! The 2 middle qtrs. team scoring is 8-5 Mainland! Offensive display >>>> I think not! Middle stayed in the game due to Mainland playing just as bad at the same time!
Fourth Quarter
Middle makes plays in 4th qtr. to take a 10 pt. victory > 43-33! Bobby scores 16 of his 20 points in this qtr. & yes......he made plays in the final period! Jalen & Lynell made plays as well! Middle's defense was very good!
