Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Bishop McCort Crushers (Johnstown, PA) and the visiting Central Cambria Red Devils (Ebensburg, PA), saw Bishop McCort's basketball squad hold off Central Cambria by a score of 58-53.

With the victory, Bishop McCort improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Crushers host Bishop Guilfoyle (Altoona, PA) to battle the Marauders in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 19. The Marauders come into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Bishop Guilfoyle won 68-27 in their recent non-league challenge against Bedford (Bedford, PA)
