In Friday's league challenge, the Pleasant Valley Vikings (Chico, CA) baseball squad the host Foothill Cougars (Palo Cedro, CA), by a final score of 8-3.

With the win, Pleasant Valley upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Vikings host Chico (Chico, CA) to battle the Panthers in a Eastern - North challenge on Tuesday, April 5. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Chico won 3-2 in their recent league challenge against Enterprise (Redding, CA)

With the defeat, Foothill falls to 6-2 on the season. The Cougars host South Medford (Medford, OR) to battle the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 4.
