Illinois High School Basketball - East prevails Proviso West
December 11, 2010: Aurora, IL 60505 East Tomcats (Aurora, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Proviso West Panthers (Hillside, IL), 113-104 in a non-league bout.
With the win, East upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Tomcats travel to Bartlett (Bartlett, IL) to encounter the Hawks in a Upstate Eight bout on Thursday, December 16. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 3-4.
Next up, the Panthers encounter the Collins Academy WArriors (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 11. Proviso West will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record. The WArriors go into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 76-46 non-league loss to Curie (Chicago, IL).
