Texas High School Football - Smith topples Greenville
October 16, 2009: Greenville, TX 75402 The Smith Trojans (Carrollton, TX) football defeated the host Greenville Lions (Greenville, TX), 56-28 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Trojans face the Rockwall Yellowjackets (Rockwall, TX) in a 4A Region II District 10 bout, on Saturday, October 24. Smith will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the bout with a 4-3 record after their 43-36 league loss to Pearce (Richardson, TX).
The Lions (4-3) will now prepare for their bout against Turner (Carrollton, TX). The Lions enter the 4A Region II District 10 bout with a 0-7 record. In their last bout, Turner was toppled by Highland Park (Dallas, TX), 70-7, in a league bout.
