Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Temple Christian Eagles (Fort Worth, TX) and the visiting Midland Christian Mustangs (Midland, TX), saw Temple Christian's basketball squad overcome Midland Christian by a count of 78-65.

With the victory, Temple Christian upgrades its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Grace Prep (Arlington, TX) to play the Lions in a TAPPS 4A District 1 challenge on Tuesday, January 6. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 6-4.

Next up, the Mustangs play the Monahans Loboes (Monahans, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 6. Midland Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Loboes come into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 65-21 non-league win over Van Horn (Van Horn, TX).
