October 1, 2010: Wheaton, IL 60187 In Friday's non-league contest, the St. Francis Spartans (Wheaton, IL) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Notre Dame Academy Pandas (Park Hills, KY), by a margin of 2-0.
Next up, the Spartans face the Sandburg Eagles (Orland Park, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 2. St. Francis will attempt to better on its 15-4 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 14-6 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL).
With the loss, Notre Dame Academy moves to 15-7 on the year. The Pandas host Berkeley Prep (Tampa, FL) to face the Buccaneers in a non-league contest on Friday, October 1. The Buccaneers go into the contest with a record of 12-1. Berkeley Prep lost 3-2 in their recent non-league contest against Mercy (Louisville, KY)
