October 9, 2009: Bayfield, CO 81122 In Friday's non-league contest, the Bayfield Wolverines (Bayfield, CO) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Piedra Vista Panthers (Farmington, NM), by a margin of 3-0.
Next up, the Wolverines battle the Monte Vista Pirates (Monte Vista, CO) in a 3A Intermountain contest, on Thursday, October 15. Bayfield will attempt to better on its 13-0 season record.
With the defeat, Piedra Vista drops to 11-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Aztec (Aztec, NM) to encounter the Tigers in a 4A District 1 challenge on Tuesday, October 13. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 9-5.
