The Platt RVT Panthers (Milford, CT) basketball knocked off the visiting Goodwin RVT Gladiators (New Britain, CT), 53-39 in Friday's non-league test.

The Panthers (11-4) will now prepare for their test against Abbott RVT (Danbury, CT). The Wolverines go into the Constitution State - West test with a 1-14 record. In their last test, Abbott RVT went down by Immaculate (Danbury, CT), 59-12, in a non-league test.

The Gladiators now own a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bullard-Havens RVT for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 24. Goodwin RVT will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 56-41 league loss to Kaynor RVT (Waterbury, CT). The Tigers record now stands at 5-8.
