In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Niles North Vikings.

The Bulldogs (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against Ridgewood (Norridge, IL). The Rebels come into the Metro Suburban battle with a 12-5 record. In their last battle, Ridgewood nudged Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart (Lake Forest, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
