October 17, 2014: Las Cruces, NM 88011 The Chaparral Lobos football team (Chaparral, NM), was ripped 41-6 in Friday's league challenge with the host Centennial Hawks (Las Cruces, NM)
The Hawks (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Valencia (Los Lunas, NM). The Jaguars come into the 5A District 3 challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Valencia was ripped by Belen (Belen, NM), 34-13, in a league outing.
With the loss, Chaparral moves to 1-6 on the season. The Lobos host Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM) to encounter the Desert Warriors in a 5A District 3 outing on Friday, October 24. The Desert Warriors go into the outing with a record of 3-4. Santa Teresa lost 37-13 in their recent league outing against Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM)
