California High School Football - Pacifica topples Santa Barbara
October 9, 2009: Santa Barbara, CA 93103 The Pacifica Tritons (Oxnard, CA) football defeated the host Santa Barbara Dons (Santa Barbara, CA), 42-14 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Tritons face the Camarillo Scorpions (Camarillo, CA) in a Pacific View bout, on Friday, October 16. Pacifica will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Scorpions enter the bout with a 4-1 record after their 37-7 non-league win over Oak Park (Oak Park, CA).
The Dons (0-5) will now prepare for their bout against Ventura (Ventura, CA). The Cougars enter the Channel bout with a 2-3 record. In their last bout, Ventura defeated Oxnard (Oxnard, CA), 31-21, in a non-league bout.
