Michigan High School Basketball - Sexton overwhelms Howell
December 20, 2011: Lansing, MI 48915 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Sexton Big Reds (Lansing, MI) and the visiting Howell Highlanders (Howell, MI), saw Sexton's basketball squad trounce Howell by a score of 64-41.
With the victory, Sexton improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Big Reds host Okemos (Okemos, MI) to battle the Chieftains in a Capital Area - Blue challenge on Friday, January 6. The Chieftains come into the challenge with a record of 3-1.
Next up, the Highlanders battle the Hartland Eagles (Hartland, MI) in a Kensington Lakes - West challenge, on Friday, January 6. Howell will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 53-41 non-league loss to Milan (Milan, MI).
