Pennsylvania High School Softball - DuBois can't hold off Williamsport
April 17, 2014: DuBois, PA 15801 The Williamsport Millionaires softball team scored 6 runs and limited the host DuBois Beavers to 5 in the Millionaires league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Williamsport improves its record to 1-5 on the year. The Millionaires host Punxsutawney (Punxsutawney, PA) to clash with the Chucks in a Central Penn game on Monday, April 21. The Chucks come into the game with a record of 2-3. Punxsutawney lost 11-0 in their recent league test against Central Mountain (Mill Hall, PA)
The Beavers (1-2) will now prepare for their test against St. Marys (St. Marys, PA). The Flying Dutch come into the Central Penn test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, St. Marys edged Altoona (Altoona, PA), 5-0, in a league test.
