Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the North Pike Jaguars (Summit, MS) and the visiting Lawrence County Cougars (Monticello, MS), witnessed North Pike's softball squad tip Lawrence County by a count of 8-1.

The Jaguars now sport a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Northwest Rankin for a non-league match on Friday, March 8.
