New York High School Football - LaSalle Institute nips Columbia
October 10, 2014: Troy, NY 12180 In Friday's league match, the host LaSalle Institute Cadets football squad scored a close 14-13 victory over the Columbia Blue Devils.
In their next game, the Cadets clash with the Schenectady Patriots (Schenectady, NY) in a Section 2 AA - Liberty match, on Friday, October 17. LaSalle Institute will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Patriots enter the match with a 3-3 record after their 22-20 league loss to Colonie Central (Albany, NY).
The Blue Devils (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Bethlehem Central (Delmar, NY). The Eagles come into the Section 2 AA - Liberty game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Bethlehem Central was tipped by Shaker (Latham, NY), 28-0, in a league game.
