Texas High School Basketball - Rocksprings tipped by Knippa

The Knippa Crushers basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Rocksprings Angoras to 37 in the Crushers league triumph on Friday.

The Crushers now sport a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Leakey for a 1A-2 Region IV District 30 contest on Tuesday, January 22. Knippa will confront a Eagles team coming off a 79-15 league win over Comstock (Comstock, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 5-13.

The Angoras (8-11) will now prepare for their contest against Utopia (Utopia, TX). The Buffaloes enter the 1A-2 Region IV District 30 contest with a 15-8 record. In their last contest, Utopia was nudged by D'Hanis (D'Hanis, TX), 56-38, in a league contest.
