Riverdale Falcons (Mt. Blanchard, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Upper Scioto Valley Rams (McGuffey, OH), 54-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Riverdale upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Falcons travel to Crestline (Crestline, OH) to play the Bulldogs in a North Central bout on Friday, December 30. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Crestline lost 68-47 in their recent league bout against Buckeye Central (New Washington, OH)

Next up, the Rams play the Marion Catholic Fighting Irish (Marion, OH) in a Northwest Central bout, on Friday, January 6. Upper Scioto Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Fighting Irish go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 63-46 non-league loss to Danville (Danville, OH).
