In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Green Hope Falcons (Cary, NC) basketball squad nipped the visiting Hunt Warriors (Wilson, NC), by a margin of 57-55.

The Falcons (15-4) will now prepare for their outing against Fuquay-Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Bengals go into the 4A Tri-Nine outing with a 2-15 record. In their last outing, Fuquay-Varina was tipped by Panther Creek (Cary, NC), 61-46, in a league outing.

The Warriors now own a 10-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northern Nash for a 3A Big East outing on Friday, January 27. Hunt will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 77-73 league loss to Rocky Mount (Rocky Mount, NC). The Knights record now stands at 1-12.
