January 19, 2012: Lampeter, PA 17537 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers (Lampeter, PA) and the visiting Lancaster Catholic Crusaders (Lancaster, PA), saw Lampeter-Strasburg's basketball squad overcome Lancaster Catholic by a count of 60-52.
With the victory, Lampeter-Strasburg upgrades its record to 14-1 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Annville-Cleona (Annville, PA) to play the Dutchmen in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 23. The Dutchmen come into the challenge with a record of 6-8. Annville-Cleona lost 69-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Garden Spot (New Holland, PA)
Next up, the Crusaders play the Manheim Central Barons (Manheim, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 23. Lancaster Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The Barons come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 58-54 non-league loss to Columbia (Columbia, PA).
