October 16, 2014: Overland Park, KS 66209 In Thursday's non-league game, the South Raiders (Shawnee Mission, KS) football team knocked off the host Blue Valley North Mustangs (Overland Park, KS), by a final score of 21-9.
The Raiders (2-5) will now prepare for their game against West (Shawnee Mission, KS). The Vikings come into the Sunflower game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, West toppled Shawnee Mission Northwest (Shawnee Mission, KS), 36-10, in a league game.
The Mustangs now hold a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shawnee Mission Northwest for a non-league game on Friday, October 24. Blue Valley North will battle a Cougars team coming off a 36-10 league loss to West (Shawnee Mission, KS). The Cougars record now stands at 2-5.
