September 26, 2014: Johnson City, TX 78636 Johnson City Eagles (Johnson City, TX) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Harper Longhorns (Harper, TX), 27-16 in a league test.
With the triumph, Johnson City improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Center Point (Center Point, TX) to battle the Pirates in a 2A-1 Region IV District 14 test on Friday, October 3. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 3-2. Center Point lost 39-14 in their recent league test against Brackett (Brackettville, TX)
With the loss, Harper drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Longhorns host Mason (Mason, TX) to battle the Punchers in a 2A-1 Region IV District 14 test on Friday, October 3. The Punchers come into the test with a record of 5-0. Mason won 56-6 in their recent league test against Sabinal (Sabinal, TX)
