The DeForest Norskies football squad scored 45 points and restricted the host Milton Red Hawks to 7 in the Norskies non-league victory on Friday.

The Norskies now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Edgewood for a non-league battle on Saturday, August 31. DeForest will face a Crusaders squad coming off a 41-35 non-league win over Waunakee (Waunakee, WI). The Crusaders record now stands at 1-0.

Next up, the Red Hawks meet the Sauk Prairie Eagles (Prairie du Sac, WI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 2. Milton will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 35-18 non-league loss to Stoughton (Stoughton, WI).
