The (6-0) will now prepare for their test against Burlington Christian Academy (Burlington, NC). The go into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Burlington Christian Academy was trounced by Pace Academy (Chapel Hill, NC), 61-41, in a non-league test.
The now own a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hayworth Christian for a non-league test on Friday, December 11. New Garden Friends will clash with a squad coming off a 39-38 non-league win over Westover Christian Academy (Danville, VA). The record now stands at 3-1.
Fourth Quarter
Noah Poulos led the scoring for New Garden Friends with 22 points, but New Garden, playing short handed, was unable to overcome Shining Light's inside game and suffered a home loss. Matt Secor with 8 rebounds was New Garden's lone factor underneath as New Garden had no answer for Corbin Duncan who scored 20 points to lead Shining Light.
