Kent Island Buccaneers (Stevensville, MD) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host North Caroline Bulldogs (Ridgely, MD), 66-61 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Kent Island upgrades its record to 7-10 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to Havre de Grace (Havre de Grace, MD) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 4. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 7-12. Havre de Grace lost 68-57 in their recent non-league battle against Colonel Richardson (Federalsburg, MD)
