California High School Basketball - Hollywood succumbs to Van Nuys
January 7, 2012: Los Angeles, CA 90028 The Van Nuys Wolves topped the host Hollywood Sheiks basketball team by a final score of 52-35 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Wolves face the Sylmar Spartans (Sylmar, CA) in a Valley Mission outing, on Monday, January 9. Van Nuys will attempt to advance on its 4-8 season record. The Spartans go into the outing with a 7-11 record after their 59-52 league loss to Kennedy (Granada Hills, CA).
The Sheiks now own a 1-13 record. They take the field next when they host Contreras for a Central outing on Wednesday, January 11. Hollywood will clash with a Cobras squad coming off a 59-45 non-league loss to Lincoln (Los Angeles, CA). The Cobras record now stands at 4-9.
