Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Houston Christian Mustangs (Houston, TX) and the visiting St. Pius X Panthers (Houston, TX), saw Houston Christian's basketball squad hold off St. Pius X by a count of 77-70.

With the victory, Houston Christian upgrades its record to 23-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs host St. John's (Houston, TX) to play the Mavericks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 24.
