In Tuesday's league outing, the Central Mustangs (Salina, KS) basketball squad knocked off the visiting South Cougars (Salina, KS), by a margin of 55-44.

The Mustangs (11-6) will now prepare for their outing against Goddard (Goddard, KS). The Lions go into the Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division I outing with a 13-4 record. In their last outing, Goddard was beaten by Maize (Maize, KS), 55-43, in a league outing.

The Cougars now own a 3-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Derby for a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division I outing on Friday, February 20.
