Rowland Raiders (Rowland Heights, CA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host La Serna Lancers (Whittier, CA), 61-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Rowland advances its record to 3-3 on the season. The Raiders travel to Charter Oak (Covina, CA) to clash with the Chargers in a non-league test on Monday, January 4. The Chargers go into the test with a record of 3-3. Charter Oak lost 62-53 in their recent non-league test against Glendora (Glendora, CA)

The Lancers now own a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Paramount for a non-league test on Monday, December 21. La Serna will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 70-58 non-league win over Cerritos (Cerritos, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 4-2.
