Kentucky High School Basketball - Raceland holds off Phelps
December 13, 2014: Phelps, KY 41553 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Raceland Rams (Raceland, KY) and the host Phelps Hornets (Phelps, KY), saw Raceland's basketball squad hold off Phelps by a tally of 60-58.
With the victory, Raceland improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Rams host Greenup County (Greenup, KY) to confront the Musketeers in a District 63 challenge on Monday, December 15. The Musketeers come into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Greenup County lost 60-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Jackson County (McKee, KY)
Next up, the Hornets confront the Allen Central Rebels (Eastern, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 16. Phelps will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 79-74 non-league loss to Jackson City (Jackson, KY).
