Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Woodsboro Eagles (Woodsboro, TX) and the host Yorktown Wildcats (Yorktown, TX), saw Woodsboro's basketball squad trounce Yorktown by a score of 40-18.

With the victory, Woodsboro improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Port Aransas (Port Aransas, TX) to clash with the Marlins in a 1A-1 Region IV District 31 test on Tuesday, January 10. The Marlins go into the test with a record of 8-4.

The Wildcats now own a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Three Rivers for a non-league test on Friday, December 30.
