California High School Basketball - Mira Mesa holds off Scripps Ranch
January 16, 2010: San Diego, CA 92126 Mira Mesa Marauders (San Diego, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Scripps Ranch Falcons (San Diego, CA), 43-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Mira Mesa upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Marauders travel to Mission Bay (San Diego, CA) to play the Buccaneers in a Western bout on Tuesday, January 19. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a record of 8-6. Mission Bay lost 53-49 in their recent non-league bout against Dos Pueblos (Goleta, CA)
Next up, the Falcons play the Cathedral Dons (San Diego, CA) in a Western bout, on Tuesday, January 19. Scripps Ranch will attempt to upgrade on its 11-5 season record. The Dons go into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 52-34 league loss to La Jolla (La Jolla, CA).
