Texas High School Basketball - River Road can't hold off Bushland

The River Road Wildcats basketball team (Amarillo, TX), was nudged 50-46 in Friday's league battle with the host Bushland Falcons (Bushland, TX)

The Falcons now possess a 11-15 record. They play next when they travel to Highland Park for a 2A Region I District 1 battle on Tuesday, February 10. Bushland will meet a Hornets team coming off a 71-61 league loss to Panhandle (Panhandle, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 10-19.

The Wildcats (13-19) will now prepare for their battle against Sanford-Fritch (Fritch, TX). The Eagles come into the 2A Region I District 1 battle with a 4-16 record. In their last battle, Sanford-Fritch was nudged by Spearman (Spearman, TX), 54-33, in a league battle.
