California High School Baseball - Edison loses to El Toro

March 13, 2013: Lake Forest, CA 92630

The El Toro Chargers baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Edison Chargers to 0 in the Chargers non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Chargers (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Capistrano Valley (Mission Viejo, CA). The Cougars come into the South Coast challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, Capistrano Valley nipped Orange Lutheran (Orange, CA), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

With the defeat, Edison falls to 4-3 on the season. The Chargers host Newport Harbor (Newport Beach, CA) to battle the Sailors in a Sunset challenge on Friday, March 15. The Sailors come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Newport Harbor won 14-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Corona del Mar (Newport Beach, CA)
