Wayzata Trojans (Plymouth, MN) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Minneapolis Southwest Lakers (Minneapolis, MN), 79-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wayzata upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Trojans host Washburn (Minneapolis, MN) to play the Millers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 5. The Millers go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Washburn lost 74-70 in their recent non-league bout against Minnehaha Academy (Minneapolis, MN)

Next up, the Lakers play the Henry Patriots (Minneapolis, MN) in a Minneapolis City bout, on Thursday, January 7. Minneapolis Southwest will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
