In Friday's league match, the host Danville Ironmen football squad scored a good 44-14 victory over the Milton Black Panthers.

In their next game, the Ironmen clash with the Central Columbia Bluejays (Bloomsburg, PA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 11. Danville will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.
