Illinois High School Football - Rich East routed by Crete-Monee
October 10, 2014: Crete, IL 60417 In Friday's league game, the Crete-Monee Warriors (Crete, IL) football team smashed the visiting Rich East Rockets (Park Forest, IL), by a score of 34-0.
The Warriors (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Rich Central (Olympia Fields, IL). The Olympians come into the Southland game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, Rich Central was ripped by Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL), 35-28, in a league game.
The Rockets now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kankakee for a Southland game on Friday, October 17. Rich East will battle a Kays team coming off a 26-8 league win over Rich South (Richton Park, IL). The Kays record now stands at 3-4.
