The Wando Warriors (Mt. Pleasant, SC) basketball nipped the visiting James Island Trojans (Charleston, SC), 42-39 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Warriors (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Bishop England (Charleston, SC). The Battling Bishops go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Bishop England got by Charleston Math & Science (Charleston, SC), 58-6, in a non-league test.
