Colorado High School Basketball - Arvada West nips Dakota Ridge
February 10, 2009: Arvada, CO 80004 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Arvada West Wildcats (Arvada, CO) and the visiting Dakota Ridge Eagles (Littleton, CO), saw Arvada West's basketball squad hold off Dakota Ridge by a score of 45-41.
With the victory, Arvada West improves its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Ralston Valley (Arvada, CO) to battle the Mustangs in a 5A Jeffco challenge on Thursday, February 12. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 12-8. Ralston Valley won 62-50 in their recent league challenge against Lakewood (Lakewood, CO)
Next up, the Eagles battle the Chatfield Chargers (Littleton, CO) in a 5A Jeffco test, on Thursday, February 12. Dakota Ridge will attempt to advance on its 9-9 season record. The Chargers go into the test with a 11-8 record after their 49-40 league loss to Columbine (Littleton, CO).
