Upsala Cardinals (Upsala, MN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host Isle Huskies (Isle, MN), 71-62 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Upsala upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Eagle Valley (Eagle Bend, MN) to play the Rebels in a Prairie bout on Thursday, January 5. The Rebels come into the bout with a record of 2-10. Eagle Valley lost 80-21 in their recent non-league bout against Parkers Prairie (Parkers Prairie, MN)

Next up, the Huskies play the Braham Bombers (Braham, MN) in a Great River bout, on Thursday, January 5. Isle will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Bombers come into the bout with a 16-1 record after their 56-54 non-league win over Esko (Esko, MN).
