Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Oaks Christian Lions (Westlake Village, CA) and the host Mater Dei Crusaders (Chula Vista, CA), saw Oaks Christian's basketball squad trounce Mater Dei by a count of 74-33.

With the victory, Oaks Christian upgrades its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Lions host Canyon Springs (Moreno Valley, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 28. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 9-2. Canyon Springs won 63-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Palisades (Pacific Palisades, CA)

Next up, the Crusaders play the West Ranch Wildcats (Valencia, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 7. Mater Dei will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 7-2 record after their 54-35 non-league loss to Pacifica (Oxnard, CA).
