The Loyola College Prep Flyers (Shreveport, LA) basketball nipped the visiting Homer Pelicans (Homer, LA), 47-45 in Tuesday's league test.

The Flyers (13-8) will now prepare for their test against Lakeside (Sibley, LA). The Warriors go into the 2A District 1 test with a 7-12 record. In their last test, Lakeside was tipped by Bienville (Bienville, LA), 56-46, in a non-league test.
