Arizona High School Basketball - North nips Cholla

North Mustangs (Phoenix, AZ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Cholla Chargers (Tucson, AZ), 76-71 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Nogales (Nogales, AZ) to play the Apaches in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 30. The Apaches go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Nogales won 72-66 in their recent non-league bout against Ironwood Ridge (Tucson, AZ)

Next up, the Chargers play the Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks (Tucson, AZ) in a II Section VI bout, on Saturday, November 30. Cholla will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Nighthawks go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 72-66 non-league loss to Nogales (Nogales, AZ).
